This is Chris. He’s thick set, slumping shoulders. Look at him walking. He’s pretty badass. Now he is eating a club sandwich. That includes turkey, cheese, toast, lettuce, and…oh, ew, what is that? Is that an avocado slice? Oh that’s gross. But do you think Chris cares? Chris don’t care. Chris don’t give a shit. When Chris is hungry he just eats. Oh that’s just nasty.

Other than that, this has been about the busiest three weeks I've yet in grad school, and it ain't slowing down.

Still running. Did five miles last Friday. Planning for six next Friday. Here is my fundraising page (enhanced with hilarious photo.) I read a dissertation chapter last week on the history of diabetes. Fascinating.

I've taken to watching Doc Martin. It's like Northern Exposure, but in England.
